A Key Step in Global Expansion: Aosheng Hi-Tech's Portugal Production Base Officially Commences Production

On September 30, 2026 (local time), the production commencement ceremony of Portugal Aosheng Hi-Tech, Unipessoal LDA, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Aosheng Composite Materials Hi-Tech CO., LTD, was grandly held in Porto, Portugal. Li Yong, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Portugal; Paulo Ferreira, Mayor of Valongo, Portugal; Guo Zhiyao, President of the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Portugal; Xu Wenqian, Chairman of Aosheng Hi-Tech; and Wang Xiaoqing, General Manager, attended the ceremony to jointly witness the landing of this important project in Aosheng Hi-Tech's overseas expansion.

As Aosheng Hi-Tech's first large-scale production base in Europe, Portugal Aosheng Hi-Tech, Unipessoal LDA leverages the parent company's more than 20 years of technical expertise in carbon fiber composite materials and its global supply chain advantages. With a core focus on the wind power sector, it specializes in the R&D, production, and localized sales of core carbon fiber components for wind turbine blades.

Once the project is operational, it will directly fill Aosheng Hi-Tech's local production capacity gap in Europe, significantly shorten delivery lead times for European wind power customers, further consolidate the company's market share advantage in the global wind power market, and provide another practical example of China's advanced composite materials industry chain going global.

Xu Wenqian, Chairman of Aosheng Hi-Tech, expressed his gratitude in his speech to the Chinese Embassy in Portugal, the Portuguese local government, and the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Portugal for their guidance and support throughout the project's implementation. He noted that, leveraging Portugal's well-established industrial infrastructure, high-quality industrial talent pool, and the coordinated efforts of relevant institutions from both China and Portugal, Aosheng's Portugal project completed the entire process from plant planning and construction to trial production on its first production line in just one year, fully demonstrating the efficient synergy of China-Portugal industrial cooperation.

In recent years, Europe has continued to increase its long-term investment in renewable energy. Its planning and layout in areas such as wind power innovation and low-carbon sustainable development are highly aligned with Aosheng Hi-Tech's core business direction. Chairman Xu Wenqian stated that after the Portugal base officially commences production, Aosheng Hi-Tech will fully leverage its technological advantages in carbon fiber composite products and its industrial chain support capabilities to deeply integrate into Europe's local wind power industry ecosystem. On the one hand, this will enable the company to provide European customers with more efficient products and services that better meet their needs; on the other hand, it will create stable industrial jobs for the local Valongo area, drive the coordinated development of upstream and downstream supporting industries, and contribute to the development of Portugal's regional economy and renewable energy industry.

With the official commencement of production at the Portugal base, Aosheng Hi-Tech has completed the build-out from its core domestic production base to a localized service node in Europe. This layout not only connects the company's entire production, logistics, and service chain for core overseas markets, effectively reducing delivery and communication costs associated with cross-border trade, but also marks a steady shift by Chinese carbon fiber composite enterprises from product export to a global layout encompassing technology, production capacity, and services across the entire chain, continuously enhancing the core competitiveness of Chinese high-end manufacturing in the global new energy industry chain.
